‘Bachelor’ Alum Lesley Murphy Shuts Down Haters

Bachelor Nation alum, Lesley Murphy, just welcomed her first child. Of course, she’s already facing ridicule from mommy shamers. The star is now clapping back at their hateful comments.

Lesley Murphy gets mad

Former Bachelor star Lesley Murphy is not happy with her social media followers right now US Weekly says. Apparently, they have been pretty rude to her as a mom and she is making it clear that won’t be happening in the future.

One person writes on her social media post: “How selfish to leave your newborn baby. … It was not important to go.”

Another says, “Leaving your 10-week-old baby for days on end under the guise of ‘self-care’ is selfish, unnatural and irresponsible. Shame on you. I can no longer follow you.”

Of course, that was enough to make her really angry. She says that behavior like that will not be tolerated on her social media account.

“This will not be tolerated on my account,” she says on her story. “I hope you can work on whatever it is that’s inside of you causing your negativity and hate. It has nothing to do with me and everything to do with you. Future mom-shamers will be blocked. Have a lovely day.”

Her social media experience

Apparently, she actually went a while without trolls, which is more than other moms can say on social.

“I went 10 weeks without a mom trolling me on anything more than bottle feeding. 10 weeks without most strangers making a dig at our parenting choices. 10 weeks without anyone telling me my baby wasn’t up to their standard of cuteness,” Lesley reveals.

She goes on to make a pretty good point. She points out that when you are mean to other moms, it does nothing for you. Instead, these people should work on their own lives instead of just ridiculing others.

“Telling others that the only way to be a ‘good mom’ is to sacrifice your own needs/wants is beyond detrimental,” the former ABC personality wrote. “Stop being the martyr. There is no prize for sacrificing yourself. You can’t fill anyone else’s cup until you fill your own. Babies are a gift, but moms who take care of themselves are a gift to their babies.”
