'American Idol' West Coast Voters Fume After Nya's Elimination

American Idol fans are fuming about the voting and they claim that Nya should have won, but instead, she was eliminated. Actually, there has been more drama this season, and it seems that Katy Perry might not be missed after they called her out for being “cruel” to Odell Bunton Jr. She’d made him think he was out when he was really passed through by the judges.

American Idol Final 12 Elimination Makes Fans Mad

The reality TV talent show already upset a lot of people when the judges kept Kayko and sent away Abby Blake. You might recall that Abby was the original applicant and Kayko only accompanied her on the piano. Well, he got offered a ticket to Hollywood, and ultimately, the main contestant left the show before he did. So, viewers slammed the judges for that. Their angry opinions didn’t change the outcome though.

American Idol fans also raged about Ziggy Krassenberg who didn’t make it into the Top 24. Instead, the judges pushed through Mackenzie Sol. Reality TV fans loved the performer with his Adam Lambert vibes. His elimination got a lot of people suggesting that the whole system was crazy and unfair. Now that the Top 12 arrived, fans are mad about another elimination.

West Coast Voters Furious Over Nya

Upset fans of the talent show took to Instagram to vent about the elimination of Nya on Sunday night. Jordan Anthony was also sent home. Reality TV star Ryan Seacrest raved about the fact that Gene Simmons, the Kiss bassist was there as a mentor and Jon Bon Jovi was there as well. But, angry fans slammed the show when it came time for the elimination of Nya. She performed I Say a Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin. Unfortunately, she just couldn’t get enough people to vote for her. However, plenty of them wanted to.

American Idol fans took to the comments section and objected because West Coasters were unable to cast their votes and send Nya into the Top 12. Here are some of those complaints:

I hate that they don’t show it live on hulu, because I really wanted to watch how they did so I can vote. I realized I couldn’t vote after 10pm because voting had closed, since they do it live east coast time.
There should never be closed voting for the west coast broadcast. Leaving out half the country is unbelievable. Have a live show for everyone or not at all.
they didn’t let PST vote so the vote shouldn’t count!!!! That is not how voting works America!!!
Really stinks that people can’t vote in PST TIME ZONE. Entire Seattle market cannot watch out live. Not sure about [the] rest of the west coast. Fix this!
