Former basketball star Nicky Young created the K3 Shooting Bands and she wants to see if the investors on Shark Tank will be interested in helping her build the company. Nicky got her start as a basketball player as a child, and her father even played for the New York Knicks. She went on to play for Farmingdale State in college.
After college, she tried out for the WNBA’s Chicago Sky, but she didn’t make the team. No longer playing basketball competitively, she set out to become an entrepreneur in the sporting goods business. Her invention was the K3 Shooting Band, which she introduced to the world in 2009. This is a resistance band that helps enhance shooting skills.
The band slips over the wrist and fits snuggly around the pointer and middle fingers, which are the two fingers that help with shooting accuracy the most. The bands then work to build muscle memory in those two fingers’ muscles. This aids in giving the ball the spin for the perfect shooting rotation. Once removed when playing games, the shooter should enjoy better accuracy.
There is a kids version for those aged five to eight and adult sizes for kids who are nine and older. The players will use it during workout routines and shooting drills to help improve their shooting accuracy during games.

While many Shark Tank products have several things to buy to support the companies, all this company sells on its website is the bands and nothing else.
Walmart also sells the bands for the same price as the company website. However, it does not seem to be available from Amazon at this time.
