‘The Voice’ Spoilers: Must See Battle Between Ari Camille, Bryson Battle
There is a huge battle coming on The Voice. On Monday night, the coaches are bringing their teams into sing-offs, which will see some great singers compete, and some big-time voices will go home. The NBC singing competition series even released a small sneak peek at what looks like it will be a show-stealing battle.
Here is a look at the battle between Team Legend’s Ari Camille and Bryson Battle and what fans should expect from the big moment.
Ari Camille and Bryson Battle Compete On The Voice
John Legend is making a tough choice on The Voice on Monday night. Team Legend is sending Ari Camille and Bryson Battle into a one-on-one wing-off, and it sounds like they are both making it hard for John to make his decision. The two singers will go into battle by singing Muni Long’s “Made For Me.”
Muni Long is a singer who has been active since 2008 and has worked with Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Ariana Grande, and Selena Gomez. She also sang “Timber” with Pitbull. “Made for Me” was her 2023 single with Mariah Carey, and the song went platinum and peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. R&B Charts. It was on her fourth studio album, Revenge. Ari and Bryson knocked it out of the park.
This brought about some dialogue between the coaches. Adam Levine said he wanted Bryson Battle on his team when the singer got a four-chair turn. John Legend, who chose him, mocked the comment. “Sometimes we get disappointed in life, you know?” he said. “Everything always doesn’t work out” (via Parade).
Adam quipped, “Thanks, dad.” However, this is when Adam began to critique the performance. He said that Bryson “can’t sing better than that.” Hew then turned to Ari and said, “Your character and who you were as a vocalist was just as present as Bryson. Just because of the enormity of what Bryson can do, I would probably lean that way, but it wouldn’t be an easy decision to make because there’s something really special about what you’re doing up there.”
The Voice Coaches All Seemed Impressed With Ari & Bryson
Adam Levine wasn’t the only person impressed. While this is John Legend’s decision to make, the other coaches were also excited about what they heard. Kelsea Ballerini was also very impressed.
“What I really appreciated is you guys both have these big bold voices that demand attention, but you didn’t try to out-sing each other,” she said. Kelsea said an important part of a musical career is finding collaborations down the road and knowing how to make each other sound good. “I think that’s the point of the Battles, and I think there’s a beautiful journey for both of you to have.”
While Adam fought for Bryson, Michael Bublé fought for Ari. He said it was a joy to watch her. Michael said Bryson reminds him of himself with his range – and then admitted he was joking. He admitted he wished he had the range of Bryson.
John Legend said, “Ari, I see so much star potential in you, and I see how charismatic you are. I think the future is so bright for you. I am so excited for you. Bryson, everyone’s jaw is on the floor seeing the things you can do with your voice.” It seems almost clear that John is planning on choosing Bryson, and since he already used his Save, he has to choose one.
