‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Vanna White Gets Roasted Over Bad Choice
Wheel of Fortune fans have gotten into a habit of complaining about almost everything lately. At first, it was mostly insults aimed at Ryan Seacrest. However, they are now mocking Vanna White as well. The most recent comment was about an outfit that Vanna wore last week. However, this time, they had a point about the design interfering with the game.
Here is what the fans saw and why they didn’t like Vanna’s outfit on a specific episode of Wheel of Fortune last week.
Wheel Of Fortune Fans Call Out Bad Dress For Vanna White
Vanna White appeared on an episode of Wheel of Fortune on Thursday wearing an interesting outfit. She wore a black capri pantsuit paired with black heels. However, it possessed one feature that most fans hated. It had large white cuffs at the end of each sleeve.
Ryan Seacrest even pointed out the outfit when he said, “Why, I love your cuffs!” What are you hiding in there?” (via TV Insider). She laughed, spread her hands apart, and said, “Nothing.”
However, her oversized cuffs soon interfered with her job as the letter-turner on the game show. When it was time to start the board, she had to touch it three times before it finally started to show the letters. Her cuffs seemed to interfere with getting the digital board to recognize her touch.
“Just a question, do the lazers not sense your hands because of your cuffs?” Seacrest asked. Vanna admitted that might be true, and Ryan said they would see how things went the rest of the night. Things didn’t go badly the rest of the night. She only had problems touching the motion-activated letters a couple of times.
This interaction led to fans on social media commenting about the bizarre outfit:
- One fan just mocked the cuffs, writing, “Did she take her hands to the veterinarian and get cones on them so she can’t scratch herself? Wonderful outfit other than the sleeve cowbell cuffs.”
- Another noticed it was causing problems, saying, “It was funny when she couldn’t get the board to work though lol.”
- A third said it amused her husband, writing, “So funny – my husband said “why does she have cones of shame on her hands”…lol.”

Of course, Vanna White doesn’t choose her outfits. She doesn’t even get to keep the ones she likes. Vanna has worn over 8,000 outfits on Wheel of Fortune, with a different one on almost every episode. She even said that her outfits are one thing fans watch to see.

However, she only gets to wear the dresses on the show. Sometimes, Wheel of Fortune will loan her one for an awards show or other special occasion. However, she has to return all the outfits and has no say in what they look like or what happens to them later.
