Golden Bachelor Fans Disgusted With April Kirkwood
Golden Bachelor fans are not happy with contestant April Kirkwood. They feel like she has overstepped her boundaries. Theresa Nist went to Instagram to share her gratitude for the support she’s been given after announcing her divorce. She and Gerry Turner told the world on Good Morning America that they were no longer together.
April commented on Theresa’s post and basically said I told you so. She said, “I wish you the very best. I truly tried to tell you, but this was your lesson to experience. Much love!”
Fans immediately started slamming her for being insensitive. Many even told her to “Zip it!” Since sharing her initial response on the post, April deleted it. She did leave up her other statement that said, “I care for all women in the world. I want us all to learn from each other and be smart and empowered. Lessons offer us the opportunity. We’ve all had our hearts broken…what we do with it is entirely up to us! Let’s rock this world ladies. Therese can lead the way!❤”
Fans continued to lash out at April. One told her they had already seen her original comment and called her “messy.”
Others told her she was the one who needed help. More said she’s bitter.
She Apologized For Her Behavior
After taking down her original post indicating she had warned Theresa about Gerry, April Kirkwood made an apology. She said she wanted to publicly apologize for her comments. She went on to say that she meant no ill will toward anyone.
April concluded by saying she wishes all women peace and power to be their true selves. She then thanked everyone for understanding.
Everyone thinks that there is more to the story than Theresa and Gerry are sharing with the public. So far April has not elaborated on what she meant by her initial statement.
