Fans Think ‘Golden Bachelor’ Series Should Be Canceled
Fans think the Golden Bachelor series should be canceled after Theresa Nist and Gerry Turner announced their divorce. The two had only been together for three months before calling off their marriage. It seems that fans are not happy with how many failed relationships there are in the franchise. Fans were shocked to hear the two were getting a divorce considering how happy they seemed and how quickly they got married.
Gerry Turner Announces Divorce
Fans were shocked to hear that Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist were getting a divorce.
“Theresa and I have had a number of heart-to-heart conversations and we’ve looked closely at our living situation, we’ve come to the decision mutually that it’s probably time for us to dissolve our marriage.”
The two were doing long distance and neither of them was open to moving away from their families. Would this not be something you would discuss before proposing? People are unsure why these conversations were not had before the final rose ceremony. However, the two are still friends and are on good terms. The two of them still have love for each other and that will not change. Are they going to try dating again? If so, is there someone else from his season who caught his eye and he may try to rekindle with?
Fans Think It Needs Canceled
Now fans are thinking the franchise needs to be canceled.

- “Just cancel Bachelor shows. Most of the relationships aren’t successful. I don’t understand why they are still on,”

The number of failed relationships that have happened over the course of the show has made fans weary in believing if it can work or not.
It seems that if people are going to get married after being on the franchise, they may need to have a long engagement like Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei are planning. I like the bachelor and bachelorette show. I just think that at the end of the show whoever gets proposed too should have an understanding that they both should just date for a long time. They have met in a fantasy world. They both need to live in the real world and then see how much they love each other.
I never thought Gerry lovedTheresa. I think Gerry would have wanted a younger more attractive wife .Sad but most older men go for women 20 years their junior!!!

I think this couple made a mockery of marriage who does something like that gets married after two months they should’ve thought about that how dumb they are at their ages. They should’ve learned and knew it would be a problem before they got married shame shame
I think the show is great to watch, no murders or killing people, Just a good family show of what might happen.
I thought Gary really favored Leslie.That was the impression from the beginning that I had. However, given Leslie’s history with men and maybe she wasn’t so financially set as Theresa so he made the wrong choice in my opinion. Both Theresa and Gerry are widowed while Leslie is divorced is another factor why I feel he chose Theresa. Commonality. Wrong woman choice. I particularly found Theresa a bit annoying. I really liked Leslie for him.
