Hallmark has released many WCTH Season 11 videos and previews. However, for fans of Team Lucas, this has been pretty dismal. Chris McNally has barely been shown.
However, Erin Krakow, who plays Lucas Bouchard’s former fiancée Elizabeth Thornton, shared a BTS video. What does this show?
Team Lucas Will See New Governor In Hospital Bed During WCTH Season 11
On Thursday, Erin Krakow shared on Instagram a WCTH Season 11 BTS video. It was of Chris McNally as Governor Lucas Bouchard. He is sitting up in a hospital bed, while makeup artists have his face and hands all made up for a scene.
Erin’s caption is, “Our very patient patient: @chrismcnally.” She is not wrong. Chris doesn’t move even a little bit as several people are getting him all prepped for a scene. Who knew that it took so much effort to set up a hospital scene? Only his expressive eyes are moving as the adjustments are made.
Of course, just two seasons ago, it was Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) who was in that Hope Valley infirmary hospital bed. This seems to be the purgatory where Elizabeth’s rejected suitors wind up.
Worst of all, this is most of Chris McNally’s Season 11 content that Hallmark or When Calls The Heart stars have previewed.

New When Calls The Heart Season 11 Videos Barely Include Chris McNally
For weeks now, Hallmark has released several WCTH Season 11 preview and teaser videos. However, Chris McNally’s character Lucas Bouchard is barely in one trailer-and that was from the Canadian Super Channel Heart & Home.
He is shown in a crowd of locals congratulating him. The only reason that Hearties know this is from Season 11 is because of Elizabeth’s shorter hair.
In another preview video, we see a confused Lucas revealing that he lost his memory. One question that comes to mind is whether his amnesia only has to do with the shooting, or the past three seasons.
However, the previews show Chris McNally in a very limited capacity. Part of it is because he started out in Capital City. That is where he was shot. Therefore, he was far away before he wound up in a Hope Valley hospital bed.
In addition, although Lucas is mentioned a lot, Hearties don’t get to see him. The Hallmark Special Sneak Peek shows Elizabeth, Bill (Jack Wagner), the Coulters (Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith), and Nathan are there as Elizabeth gets the dreaded call from Edwin (Erik Gow).
Edwin tells Elizabeth that the newly elected Governor had two bullets in him. Firstly, the bullet in his leg was removed. In addition, he lost a lot of blood. Most of all, they don’t know who did it!
While there is plenty of Lucas talk, so far, there have been few real sitings of the new governor.

The premiere of WCTH Season 11 is on Sunday, April 7, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
