Where’s Lucas? Is Chris McNally Missing From Canadian ‘WCTH’ S11 Preview?
Although Hallmark viewers have been waiting for the WCTH Season 11 trailer, Canadian Hearties have already seen a glimpse. This new video is an introduction to the upcoming season after a cliffhanger ending.
There is a lot to see in this short clip. However, it does not appear that Chris McNally’s character Lucas Bouchard is in this teaser video. Where is Lucas?
Canadian WCTH Preview Shows Hints Of Season 11
On Wednesday, Hearties got to see the When Calls The Heart Season trailer, through the Canadian Super Channel Heart & Home. The video shows several scenes. The first scene is of Bill (Jack Wagner) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) talking to Nathan (Kevin McGarry). They look concerned. Is it about the water, or does Hope Valley have a new crisis?
Next, Nathan and Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) are sitting on a bench chatting. She has a new bob hairstyle. Next are scenes of Hope Valley daily life including Allie (Jaeda Lily Miller) rushing to hug her dad, as well as Mike Hickam (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) chatting. There are individual photos, as well as a group shot.
The video ends with the Lelands and baby Goldie blowing out the candle On Marigold’s first birthday cake. That indicates that there is a time jump of some sort because she was still a baby back in Season 10. The taglines include “Unlock the romance,” and “Unlock the hope.”
However, this short clip is missing someone very important.

Where Is Chris McNally In The Canadian WCTH Season 11 Preview?
Although there seem to be a lot of familiar faces throughout the new Canadian WCTH Season 11 teaser, Chris McNally is not one of them. This begs some thought. Could the newly-elected governor be in Hope Valley part-time? Or, is there another reason he is not in this video clip?

Turns out, most of the video clips failed to share the very beginning, where there is a short glimpse of Chris. Late on Thursday, Andrea Brooks shared a longer version of the WCTH Season 11 preview. In the very beginning, Hearties can see Lucas. But, he is not in the rest of the clip.

Is Chris McNally Returning For When Calls The Heart Season 11?
Although Chris McNally is just briefly in this Canadian WCTH Season 11 short clip, it doesn’t necessarily mean that he is not returning as Lucas Bouchard. Moreover, back in October, Erin Krakow spoke to ET about Chris. She was adamant that he would be returning.
We’re not gonna lose Chris McNally. I mean, he’s fantastic. I can’t imagine that. Our show just grew and changed when we brought in Kevin and Chris.
Also, Krakow promised that When Calls The Heart Season 11 will quickly address “Lucas being in jeopardy.” Therefore, this crisis will not be a long-running issue. But, what does this shorter video clip mean? This brief clip may make fans wonder whether Chris McNally’s Lucas Bouchard is a recurring character in the Hallmark series, not a series regular.

Did Hallmark make a mistake breaking up Lucas and Elizabeth?YES! So many new stories are there for them. Lucas was to be a father to LJ. The love story was loaded with passion and empathy. All Lucas wanted was to make Elizabeth happy. He had no dreams of grandeur. Building her a house was no difffetent than Jack wanting to build her.a house. The mountie school teacher story has been done. Time to move on to another story. b Putting Elizabeth back with a other mountie limits tjr stories back to just a mountie on missions and a school teacher in a class room. But add in the Governor being in danger and possibly moving back to Hope Vallley to start a huge project you still have the Lucas and Elizabeth love story and don’t repeat the first five years. Unfortunately they will lose the Lucas and Elizabeth audience which is sizable. Bad unfortunte gamble.
