When Tish Cyrus married Prison Break’s Dominic Purcell, her daughter, Miley Cyrus was right there by her side, in full support. Yet, Miley and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus have been estranged since her parents parted ways. He has since moved on with Firerose and they tied the knot in a simple ceremony. Billy Ray has remained close to his daughter, Noah Cyrus which is great but there seems to be more than just a father-daughter bond. As it turned out, Noah and Dominic had been seeing each other for a short time. Then, he and Tish went out on a date and the rest is history.
Tish has alleged that Dominic slid into her DMs several years back but she was married. So, it could have been he was desperate to get into the Cyrus family any way he could. Once he and Tish began a love affair while he had been with her daughter, that caused a huge rift. So bad that Noah was supposedly not allowed at her mother’s wedding which is why she has grown so close to her father. Now, Tish and Dominic are apparently attending marriage counseling to deal with this betrayal.

According to Us Weekly, a source close to the couple had this to say: “They’re working on communication and sought therapy together.” An additional insider said that the rift is so strong, that healing won’t be a quick fix. Neither party has commented on the situation. Tish Cyrus did note that dating Dominic Purcell was not the best idea from the get-go:
“I was so scared when I first met Dom, my husband, which was not that long ago. But it is crazy because I am a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, and every single thing that I read said, ‘Don’t even do it. This is the absolute worst pairing.’”
Moving On
Miley Cyrus is still holding a grudge against her dad and siding with her mother. She thanked Tish Cyrus in her Grammy speech but did not acknowledge Billy Ray Cyrus at all. However, she did apparently confront her mother about what she had done to Noah Cyrus. She had no idea what had gone down but it did not seem to matter in the long run. Now, the family is fractured but Tish seems very happy, flaunting her marriage by using her new last name on social media. Hopefully, things can turn around in all aspects.
