Tish Cyrus has wed Prison Break star, Dominic Purcell after a quickie engagement. This comes a little over the year after she filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus. Now, she is a married woman, and here are all of the exciting details.

In April 2022, Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Billy Ray Cyrus after thirty years for the third time. Then, it seemed like their daughter, Miley Cyrus was not too thrilled with her dad moving on. He started dating singer Firerose who he had collaborated on a song in the summer of 2021. More so, by November 2022, Billy Ray and Firerose were officially engaged. That same month, Tish was linked to Prison Break star Dominic Purcell. They seemed really happy together and started to showcase their romance on social media. Additionally, it also appeared that Miley was okay with this situation.

Then, five months after Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell were first linked, they got engaged. It looked like they were on the fast track to marriage. Again, no one could say anything about Billy Ray and Firerose who were just making music and enjoying their engagement. Now, Tish and Dominic are officially husband and wife. According to Us Weekly, the two tied the knot five months after he popped the question. Per Just Jared, they wed on Saturday, August 19th with Miley Cyrus as the maid of honor. Though Tish has not said anything on her social media about the wedding, it is clear that she and Miley really do love and support each other.


She recently posed in front of one of her daughter’s posters along with Purcell and wrote how proud of her she was. Furthermore, Tish and Dominic have attended parties for Miley’s music. An insider ever shared how excited Miley is: “Miley is so grateful that she’s found someone she loves with all her heart. Dominic makes her mom so happy, and Miley loves seeing her mom smiling and laughing all the time. Miley couldn’t be more excited for them.”

Billy Ray Patiently Waiting

Though Tish Cyrus wasted no time getting remarried, Billy Ray Cyrus is taking his time. He and Firerose just released a new ballad that showcased their love. It will be interesting to see if Miley shows up for her dad the way she did her mother.
