Alana Thompson Does Not Want June Shannon To Visit Her
Alana Thompson does not seem to be on good terms with her mother. She told her not to come to visit her at college in Colorado. This is not shocking to fans as Mama June Shannon has caused a lot of traumas for Alana Thompson. She is currently living with her sister, Pumpkin. However, she is going to be moving soon and starting a life of her own away from the drama.
Mama June Chooses Drugs
Mama June ruined her relationships with her children when she chose drugs over them time and time again. She would disappear and no one could find her until she was back in jail or a courtroom. June ended up losing custody of Alana and she had to live with her sister Pumpkin. Pumpkin and her husband Josh took Alana in with no hesitation and cared for her the best they could. This made Alana grow closer to all of them and she looks up to them as parent figures. The trauma June has caused did not go away when she got clean and came back. Alana seems to want nothing to do with her despite June trying to be in her life.
Alana Thompson Does Not Want Mama June To Visit Her
Alana Thompson told her mom she did not want her to visit while she was away at college. June wanted to come to see her every other weekend.
“I’m not gonna open up my front door so.”
Then in a confessional she said:
“When I move to Colorado, I’m moving for a reason. I’m moving away, away from the drama, away from Mama. It’s like I don’t really want you to come out and visit me in Colorado. You done put me through all this drama and stress back home In Georgia. Just imagine what you finna go out there and do in Colorado.”
June then stated Colorado could be there new vacation spot and Alana did not approve.
“No I don’t think it will. I think you should just stay in Florida where y’all normally vacay.”
It seems as though Alana is moving far away to get far from the drama her mom brings to the table. She does not want her to bring the drama to Colorado where she is trying to start over. Alana seems to be happy with her boyfriend and is excited to get away from all the bad energy. What do you think about her not wanting Mama June to visit her? Do you agree?
