Valerie Bertinelli is one of the few television stars to have a successful transition from child star to adult star. As a teenager, she stared in the megahit One Day At Time. She was on this show for several years.
This beautiful and talented actress was also blessed to have starred along with the megastar and comedic genius, Betty White. The two of them co-starred in Hot In Cleveland. This television show aired for six seasons.
The Past Marriages of Valerie Bertinelli
Valerie Bertinelli has been married twice. Her first marriage was to the late Eddie Van Halen. The couple shared one son, Wolfgang Van Halen. They were married in 1981. Sadly, her marriage ended in divorce in 2007.
Valerie Bertinelli was also married to Tom Vitale. That marriage ended in divorce in 2022. They have two children, Angela Vitale and Andie Vitale.

Less than two years after divorcing Tom Vitale, Valerie Bertinelli got what could very well be the shock the of her life. This shock came to her via Instagram. The former child star had met a man.
“I was supposed to die with my six cats and my dog,” Valerie Bertinelli joked, “and very happily live the rest of my years alone — I’m good alone.” She continued with “It was strictly platonic, but there was something about him that I connected with that felt familiar.”

Valerie Bertinelli did not meet just any man. This is a man she now admits to being in love with. This new couple had known each other as friends on the social media platform. One day, their feelings for each changed.
“I found joy first,” Bertinelli stated, “and then a man entered my life.”
It appears after two failed marriages and some therapy to help herself heal, Valeria Bertinelli has found love again. “I’ve met someone. And I’m incredibly grateful for him. It’s unlike any relationship that I’ve ever experienced with a man. I don’t want to say too much, but I feel incredibly blessed and lucky to have met him, because I wasn’t expecting it!”

The future plans of the One Day At A Time star have yet to be disclosed. She has not even revealed the name of the man she has fallen in love with. His is only known as a writer from the East Coast.
