For Season 11, Nicole Scherzinger was replaced by Rita Ora at the judge’s table. The Pussycat Dolls singer said that she would be leaving the show indefinitely while she pursued a theater role. Nicole has been a judge on the show since its inception, so fans were worried about what the implications of such a big change might be.

The original poster said that they missed Nicole Scherzinger. “I always appreciated Nicole’s guesses as they were generally insightful, and her personality always shined in every episode,” the viewer wrote. “I know we’re only four episodes in, and I tried to give Rita a chance, but she simply does not compare to Nicole as a judge. Rita Ora Is Gaining Respect Among The Masked Singer Viewers
“I like Rita. If I’d had my way I’d replace Jenny with Rita as I think the dynamics between everyone else would be slightly better,” one person chimed in. They also pointed out that Rita is still finding her footing on a show that has been around for several years. The dynamic between judges and the show itself has already been established. While Rita might not be as well-versed in American celebrity names, she is helpful in contributing to the “thought process,” the person pointed out.
“I actually love Rita,” another person wrote. “I went to a few of the tapings and she brought such great energy and the dynamic was much better than previous seasons, they’ve cut out a lot of the more fun moments, but they seemed more energetic and into it this season.”
Several people pointed out that Nicole could often be overdramatic after performances. Some viewers were tired of her reactions and don’t miss her at all, but they are not the majority. Overall, fans are enjoying the new dynamic that Rita has brought to The Masked Singer, but they also miss Nicole. Many people think they should get rid of Jenny McCarthy though.
