Is Mama June Shannon helping Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson scam fans by riling them up first? Alana has been on TikTok begging for money so she can pay her Spring tuition. Mama June Helps Alana Scam Fans By Riling Them Up?
Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson had a college scholarship but needed more funds for the year. Therefore, she asked Mama June for help, who declined. She then asked for the funds from her Coogan account, money set aside for child performers to protect them from their parents. When June showed her what was left, there was a measly $33K because June blew it all. She tried to lie her way out of it but it did not work on her daughters as they saw right through her.
Now, Alana is away at school in Colorado, nearing the end of her Spring semester at Regis University. She has started to ask for donations on TikTok but June claims Alana is fine. June shared she was putting $30K in her daughter’s account plus there is supposedly money in a California account. One Redditor realized that after June goes off about Alana, in turn, Alana goes live and asks for money and it comes pouring in. They wrote this:
- But seeing the last week on TikTok, has anyone else noticed that June will go live get everyone HEATED then Alana will get on & her views & everything shoots up? Like girl get your bread but I’m starting to notice a pattern for sure.
So, are they working together to help get Alana more money?
- Everyone that is donating to them is being played.
- HOW IS THIS NOT FRAUD? They all lie and act like she is broke. She has money!
- You don’t think they don’t plan stuff like this
- It’s pretty much all just a stunt to get as much money as possible because people will give them money for anything at this point.

Scamming & Stunts
Followers immediately knew that fans of Mama June and Alana Thompson were being scammed by the two of them. They believed that this was all pre-planned by the ladies to get as much money as they could as they would do whatever it took to get cash. More so, one called it a “stunt” concocted by June and Alana. Someone questioned if this is considered fraud while it has been asked what would happen to the donations if Alana drops out of school. Many just would not choose this cause to donate their hard-earned money to.
