Tori Spelling Finally Files For Divorce
Tori Spelling has had a super rough time of it in the past few years. Things just have not been going her way. This is especially true when it comes to her marriage to Dean McDermott. Despite the emotional turmoil the past few years the star of Beverly Hills, 90210 has made a huge decision about her marriage as well as her future with Dean McDermott.
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s Separation
Tori Dean and her estranged husband, Dean McDermott, decided to separate last year, in 2023. This was after being married for about 18 years. The couple could no longer live together.
Despite their separation, the couple worked hard at getting along. They tried to co-parent their five children together. Making sure their children were well taken care of and felt loved was one of their main priorities.
Unhappy For A Long Time
It has been reported by multiple sources that Tori Spelling had been unhappy for a long. It had been speculated this was partly due to Dean McDermott’s alcohol use. Despite this, the child star fought to keep their marriage together.
It has also been reported the couple stayed in the marriage for the sake of their children. Their children – Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn and Beau range in age from seven to 16. Both attempted to make their marriage work for their children.
Practically Homeless
On top of all the issues with her marriage and the separation, Tori Spelling and her five children were practically homeless. Due to issues with their home, they had to move out.
Tori Spelling rented several houses, but none of them worked out. The family had to leave one due to safety concerns. They even spent time in a cheap motel. There was a time the six of them were living in an RV. Thankfully, the star of Beverly Hills, 90210 was able to secure housing for all of them.
Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott’s Breaking Point
It appears the breaking point for Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott was a recent meeting at a storage unit. This meeting did not go well for the estranged couple. They were seen bickering as they went through their belongings in the storage unit. Tor Spelling was seen throwing a plastic bag full of things into the air.
After Dean McDermott left, Tori Spelling got into her SUV. It was then she had an emotional breakdown. She was seen crying as she sat behind the wheel of the SUV.
Tori Spelling Has Made Her Decision
Tori Spelling has filed for divorce from Dean McDermott. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for filing for the divorce. The papers were officially filed shortly after their meeting at the storage unit. It appears that meeting went so badly she felt it was time to end her marriage.
Finally, after being separated for almost a year, Tori Spelling has made the decision to end her almost-two decade long marriage. Even after doing as much as possible to save her marriage, Tori Spelling is unable to continue trying to make it work.
