‘Mob Wives’ Drita D’Avanzo Shares She Separated From Husband

Drita D’Avanzo opened up about her marriage to Lee D’Avanzo amid his release from prison. He was sentenced to 64 months in prison in August 2020. However, he has been released early. Now, Drita has revealed that they are no longer a couple. In fact, their relationship ended a long time ago. Keep reading for more details about their split.

Lee D’Avanzo Was Released Early From Prison

New York Police Department officials raided the home of Lee and Drita D’Avanzo in December 2019. Drita was arrested along with Lee for possession of a firearm and drug paraphernalia. All of the charges against Drita were eventually dropped and she didn’t see any jail time. Her husband, on the other hand, pleaded guilty to the gun charges.

As mentioned above, Lee D’Avanzo was sentenced to 64 months for felony possession of a gun. He was placed in a medium-security prison in Lewis Run, Pennsylvania. Initially, he was scheduled to leave the facility in July of this year, but he has been released from incarceration early. Actually, he was released an entire year early on July 14, 2023. After serving his time, he is under supervised release.

Mob Wives fans have been wondering when the couple will be reunited upon Lee’s release. Although it hasn’t been revealed previously, Drita D’Avanzo told The U.S. Sun that they have been separated for years. So, there won’t be any kind of romantic reunion now that Lee has been released from custody.

“He’s been out. I don’t discuss it with anyone. I just say, ‘I don’t want to talk about him right now,'” she told the publication at Ainslie Bowery in New York City. She then revealed that she hadn’t been with Lee in several years and they had been “separated for a long time.”

Drita D’Avanzo Plans To Open Up About The Divorce

Right now, no divorce filing has been made, but Drita D’Avanzo said that she will let people know when the split is made official in the eyes of the law. As far as she is concerned, the relationship has been over for a while now though.

She spoke about what she would share about the separation once the time came. “I’m working on a podcast and you’re going to find out a lot and you are going to be like, ‘Whoa!’ Drita said. “If you notice on Instagram, anything I do, even when I did Mob Wives… I didn’t talk about anything.”

The Mob Wives star said that she thinks people will believe what she has to say when the time comes because she’s been so quiet. Drita explained, “I feel like when I do talk maybe people will listen because I will have something to say and I’ll be honest.”

Lee and Drita D’Avanzo got married in 2000. They share two daughters: 23-year-old Aleeya D’Avanzo and 16-year-old Gizelle D’Avanzo.
