Is Hailey Bieber Copying Sabrina Carpenter?
In a recent photo on Instagram Stories, Hailey Bieber used a filter that gave her blue eyes. This came just a couple of hours after Justin Bieber followed Sabrina Carpenter on the social media platform.
Even though Sabrina, 24, is dating the Irish film star Barry Keoghan, fans think that Hailey Bieber might be jealous. They instantly compared her filtered baby blues to Sabrina Carpenter’s natural blue-green peepers. Several fans took to Reddit to discuss the possibility of Hailey trying to “copy” Sabrina.
“Copycat Hails. I’m 100% sure she saw that Justin started following Sabrina on Instagram and now all of a sudden she posts this really low-quality, boring picture of her with blue/green eyes… She is desperate!” one person wrote. A second Reddit user commented, “She’s very very very insecure.”
“Hahahah that didn’t take long she’s already trying to be Sabrina,” a third person wrote. Another person pointed out, “At least she’s moved on from copying Selena,” while one fan predicted that Hailey Bieber might even dye her hair blonde to look more like Sabrina.
A number of people linked Hailey’s recent behavior to how she acted toward Justin Bieber’s ex Selena Gomez. Many believe that Hailey dyed her hair brown to look more like the Wolves singer.
Trouble In Justin & Hailey’s Marriage
Justin and Hailey Bieber got married in September 2018. A number of fans have accused Hailey of “stealing” Justin from Selena. However, Hailey has spoken out about these rumors and shut them down on an episode of the Call Me Daddy podcast.
In 2022, she said, “I can say, period, point blank, I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That’s the end of it.” Whatever the case may be, their marriage effectively put an end to the on-again off-again relationship between the two stars.
Hailey’s marriage to Justin hasn’t been a fairytale though. A source close to the couple has said that they have been facing trouble in their relationship.
“He acts like a needy kid all the time and she’s constantly having to apologize for him and try to get him to act like an adult,” the source said. The person alleges that Hailey Bieber is tired of Justin’s “immature behavior” and “needy kids tendencies.” They summarized, “They got married very young and didn’t know what they were getting into, and it’s been up and down ever since.”
