Tammy Slaton has made astounding progress on her weight loss journey. Now, she has posted an update on social media, showing off her slim figure in a surprising place. The 1000-Lb. Tammy Slaton’s Amazing Weight Loss Story
Getting to where she is today has been a struggle for Tammy Slaton. At one point in her weight loss journey, she nearly died after contracting COVID. She had to learn to have a better relationship with good and with herself.
At one point, Tammy weighed 717 pounds. Eventually, she entered a rehab clinic so that she could get healthy enough to undergo bariatric surgery. In August 2023, it was reported that Tammy was down 448 pounds. By September, she was only 30 pounds heavier than her sister, Amy Slaton.
Now, she weighs close to 300 pounds. Since leaving rehab, she has not had any relapses in behavior and it seems like the TLC star is devoted to her new, healthy lifestyle.
Recently, Tammy Slaton has been sharing a lot of selfies and full-body shots that show off her massive weight loss transformation.
Checking Items Off Her Bucket List
On Friday, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star shared a video on TikTok that showed off her much slimmer figure. The post featured a throwback video of Tammy before her weight loss surgery. In the older clip, a follower asked her if she had ever been to Disney World. Tammy replied to the comment saying that she’d never been due to her weight, but it was on her list of places she wanted to go.
The TLC star stitched the video with a new clip of herself and shared some amazing news. In the new clip, Tammy shared that she finally made it to Disney. The photo that she added showed her looking slimmer than ever, smiling at the camera. “And I made it to Disney,” she captioned the photo. The 1000-Lb. Sisters star finally made it to Disney World earlier this month.

Previously, she had shared a full-body clip of herself in a 2024 Disney World t-shirt, but this post confirmed that Tammy Slaton officially checked this item off her bucket list. Fans were eager to show their support in the comment section.
“You’ve come a long long way. So very proud of you,” one follower wrote. Another commented, “Tammy, I’m a huge fan of yours. You just shine inside and out. I’m really happy for you!!” A third fan pointed out the major changes Tammy has made, “Wow what a transformation Tammy! Nice work!”
TLC has not confirmed whether or not there will be a Season 6 of 1000-Lb. Sisters. However, it is assumed that the series will be renewed and will premiere later this year.
