Fans Call For Maggie Sajak To Take Over ‘Wheel Of Fortune’
Fans think that Maggie Sajak is primed and ready to take over for her dad on Wheel Of Fortune. Maggie posed for several photos alongside her dad, Pat Sajak, and his long-time co-host Vanna White. People have called for her to be the person to take Pat’s place on the popular game show following his retirement later this year.

On Friday, Maggie shared a photo of herself standing in between the two game show icons on Instagram. She sported a tight black shirt, high-waisted shorts, and tights. The Wheel Of Fortune star paired the look with thigh-high boots and she left her long, blonde hair hanging down around her shoulders.

Pat Sajak matched his daughter’s look with a black suit and Vanna White sported a black dress as well. The trio was all smiles.
“Having a blast during Super Heroes Week! We love seeing confetti on the floor,” Maggie Sajak captioned the post. Her caption gave a nod to last week’s theme on Wheel Of Fortune, which was superheroes.
Pat Sajak announced that he would be retiring as the host of Wheel Of Fortune in July 2023 after more than 40 years on the beloved game show. Ryan Seacrest will be taking his place.
Many people wondered what Pat’s departure would mean for Vanna White’s future on the show. However, Ryan Seacrest confirmed that Vanna would continue to hold her spot in front of the puzzle board. In fact, she fought for a pay raise amid all of the changes on the game show.
Fans Want Maggie To Take Her Dad’s Place
That said, fans have their own ideas about who should be taking Pat Sajak’s place on Wheel. Viewers have not held back on their thoughts about Maggie Sajak potentially taking over for her dad once he retires later this year. They have sounded off in the comment section.
“She has such classic features. Wish she was going to be the new host,” one fan recently commented on a photo of Maggie. Another person wrote, “Really wish that you were taking over your dad’s job. You know it better than most. Not looking forward to your dad leaving.”

“You really should be the next host once your dad retires,” one person wrote. Another person commented, “Definitely a great group and Maggie looks like she is about ready to be the boss!!” A third person said that she’d be the perfect replacement for Vanna White, once she decides to leave.
Some people believe Maggie Sajak’s behavior on social media recently points to her eventually replacing Vanna White. A recent video of her and Vanna wearing sparkly gowns side-by-side seemed to hint at the possibility. There has been no official confirmation of this rumor though.
Pat Sajak’s last episode of Wheel Of Fortune will be on June 7, 2024.
