Reality Steve Says Bachelorette Has Been Chosen
ABC confirmed last month that The Bachelorette is returning this summer for Season 21. Bachelor Nation fans were hoping for an announcement about the lead for The Bachelorette or the upcoming Golden Bachelorette at the Women Tell All special.
No announcement came, but spoiler guru Reality Steve revealed on his podcast this week that the network has chosen a Bachelorette. And an announcement may come during the After the Final Rose special on Monday, March 25.
Fans Spot Subtle Signs It’s Jenn Tran
According to the blogger, the choice for Bachelorette comes down to either Maria Georgas or whichever woman Joey Graziadei sends home during the finale. The last two women standing are Daisy Kent and Kelsey Anderson. However, some Bachelor Nation fans want Jenn Tran as the first Asian Bachelorette.
Despite Reality Steve’s prediction, social media is ablaze with speculation that signs are pointing toward Jenn Tran. Various Reddit threads have cropped up with clues that she’s the next Bachelorette. What signs have fans spotted?
First of all, Jenn Tran was one of the Season 28 contestants to get the ‘hot seat’ next to Jesse Palmer on the Women Tell All special. This is slightly unusual because she wasn’t overly involved in any drama with the other women. She was eliminated in Week 7, along with Kelsey Toussant.
During her screen time at WTA, Jenn Tran cried over her breakup with Joey Graziadei, despite not having a strong of a connection as some of the other contestants. One Bachelor Nation fan wondered on Reddit, “Did they give her this time because this is who they’re looking at for The Bachelorette?”
Another clue Bachelor Nation fans picked up on was Jenn’s upcoming interview with a TV station in New York. However, it may not be as big a deal as some think. Another fan wrote, “Just because they were only able to get jenn for that local NY news segment?? LOL no.”
The interview is before the Bachelor finale airs. Whoever gets the Bachelorette gig will likely be interviewed on a nationwide news program, such as Good Morning America.
More Evidence?
But a few naysayers didn’t deter more rumors spreading about Jenn Tran. In addition to her WTA segment, one fan noticed that the network has been featuring Jenn Tran a lot on the Bachelor social media accounts. “I think it’s probably going to be Jenn as bachelorette based on how hard they’re pushing her on their Instagram,” the fan theorized.
