‘The View’ Whoopi Goldberg Zones Out During Kate Middleton Talk

The View Asks ‘Where Is Kate Middleton?’
There has been a lot of interest in Kate Middleton’s whereabouts recently. Conspiracy theories have made up stories that point to Kate being dead or seriously ill because she has not been seen out and about with her family since Christmas time. Because the topic has been trending, the ladies on The View have spoken about it frequently over the last few weeks.
“This is not something they’re worried about over in London. We’re the only ones who do this,” Whoopi Goldberg said to her fellow hosts on The View. Despite weighing in on the subject, her co-hosts continued to obsess over recent footage that was shared by TMZ on Monday.

The View moderator did not care to continue the conversation. Instead, she made herself comfortable at the Hot Topics table. She sank down into her chair and kicked her feet up as Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Joy Behar excitedly talked about Kate Middleton. At one point, Whoopi Goldberg even looked up at the audience and asked if anyone had a “joint.”
Joy Behar was the one to bring Whoopi back to life after the conversation had come to an end. She told her co-host that it was “time to wake up” and joked that a commercial break had arrived to save her from the torture of the discussion.
Fans Question Whoopi Goldberg’s Behavior
Fans weighed in on the discussion on social media after the clip was posted to X. While many people commented on the Big-foot-like footage of Kate Middleton and what the panelists had to say on the subject, others pointed out Whoopi’s behavior during the conversation.
“Can Whoopi excuse herself from the table while they discuss Will and Kate or maybe can Ana Navarro come in for the topic? It would greatly improve the show,” one person wrote. Another pointed out that her behavior could be considered disrespectful. “I love [Whoopi], but I don’t like when she looks bored or leans on her hand while the other women speak,” they wrote on X. “It seems disrespectful & demeaning. She should show more respect when they speak.”
