Jade Roper Gives Subtle Hint She’s Done Having Kids
BIP alum Jade Roper and her husband, Tanner Tolbert, suffered a huge loss when she had a devastating miscarriage in August 2023. She gave a huge hint they won’t have more children.
BIP Alums Mourn Tragic Loss
Jade Roper has been a fan favorite since her Bachelor Nation debut. Viewers first met her as a contestant on Season 19 of The Bachelor. She joined Season 2 of Bachelor In Paradise hoping to find love after not finding it with Chris Soules.
She fell in love with Tanner Tolbert during BIP. The couple got engaged during the Season 2 finale. Their 2016 wedding was part of a televised celebration honoring 20 years of the franchise. Jade and Tanner have welcomed three children since their time on BIP: Emerson, Brooks, and Reed.

Jade Roper Gives Subtle Hint She’s Done Having Kids
The loss of Beau has had a devastating effect on the Tolbert family. Jade and Tanner weren’t sure at first if they wanted to try to get pregnant again after such a monumental loss.
A photo she posted on her Instagram Story seems to hint that they have made a decision about whether to expand their family. Is the family of five going to become a family of six?
Jade Roper strongly hinted that she won’t be adding more children to the family. She shared a photo of a crib in a baby’s room and wrote that it was a “bittersweet day” because they were donating the crib. She reflected that Brooks and Reed both used the crib, and it was also one they planned to use with Beau.
But the sweet part of the day was that the crib was going to one of the kids’ teachers who just had a baby. Jade Roper wrote that she was happy that the crib was going to a “loving home” but sad about what it meant for her and her family.
“I’m also a bit sad closing this chapter in my life,” she ended the post.
That doesn’t necessarily mean they aren’t planning to have more kids, but it definitely sounds that way. She will likely address the question sometime soon.
