Individually, each member of the 7 Little Johnstons family has a lot going on. Amber and Trent Johnston’s kids are all adults now. They have their own lives and their own things happening. One thing about this family is that they never hesitate to come together when one of their family members is in need.
As 7 Little Johnstons fans saw, when Jonah Johnston was dealing with his personal crisis following his bad trip with Delta 8, his family stepped up to bat for him when he needed it. He moved back home and had the time and grace to get himself back on track.

Recently, Trent Johnston took to social media to share a loss that is impacting the entire 7 Little Johnstons family. They lost their “Poppy,” Walter “Pete” Johnston. Trent’s dad recently celebrated his 90th birthday surrounded by over 100 friends and family members.
Trent Johnston thanked the many 7 Little Johnstons followers who reached out with kind words and condolences during this incredibly difficult time. The service was held on Sunday, March 17, as the entire family remembered and honored their family member, as well as the long and fruitful life he lived.

Following the 7 Little Johnstons funeral service, the loss still weighs heavily on each of the TLC family members. Trent Johnston changed his profile pic on Instagram to one of his dad with a big smile on his face. Based on the most recent updates, he isn’t the only one reflecting and remembering this pillar of the family.
Emma Johnston took to social media to share an adorable update with her many followers. She shared a throwback pic of her and Alex with their “Poppy.” Everyone is all smiles in the throwback photo as the family remembers the happier times they had. She also included the caption: “Kept in our hearts forever.”

Losing a parent is one of the most painful losses one can go thru. My prayers go out to you, Trent after losing your dad ; and to you Amber, losing your father in law. This pain will last for a long time but gradually you’ll start to have just wonderful memories of him.
And I know that all of you kids have broken hearts after losing your poppy. Losing a grandparent you’ve been so close to is devastating. My heart and prayers go out to all of you, too.
