7 Little Johnstons is officially back on TLC. The show’s many fans have something new to look forward to, as the brand-new season premiered on Tuesday, March 12. Trent Johnston And TLC Family Mourning Devastating Loss
With all the excitement surrounding 7 Little Johnstons Season 14, Trent Johnston recently took to social media to share some heartbreaking news. Trent told his followers that they lost their “Poppy,” Walter “Pete” Johnston. Their beloved family member made it to the age of 90 before passing on, living a good life surrounded by friends and family.
Trent Johnston said: “Thank you so much for the out pouring of love, prayers, and support given to our family during this difficult time.” Trent went on to say that his family member was “tired,” but also “at peace within” when he finally passed on.
This loss must also hit harder because Trent and Amber recently became grandparents themselves with the arrival of Liz Johnston’s baby with Brice Bolden, Leighton Bolden. Now, they are laying their “Poppy” to rest, with an upcoming service on March 17.

Trent I am very sorry for the loss of Poppy! From watching him on the show, He was very very likable and so sweet! My prayer for the whole Family! I love all of you guys! We changed our satellite and I haven’t been able to check on what’s going in the family , give Amber a hug for me please I lost my husband 2 years ago and I am still devastated over his loss! We were married 57 years! But this is not about me !
