Vanderpump Rules Alums Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor Separate Amid Marriage Trouble
Vanderpump Rules viewers watched much of Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor’s relationship grow after she moved from Kentucky to L.A. She quickly landed a job at the Lisa Vanderpump-owned SUR. Viewers also had a front-row seat when Jax cheated on her with co-star Faith Stowers.
Despite the betrayal, the two walked down the aisle in 2019. After nearly five years of marriage and a son, Brittany announced that she was separating from her husband for her own mental health. Rumors are flying that the split was due to more infidelity or vicious insults.
The Bravolebrities are returning to TV later this month with a new reality show that supposedly gives insight into the split. The Valley premieres on Bravo on March 19.
Despite separating, the two continue to host their When Reality Hits podcast. They welcomed former VPR co-star and current Valley star Kristen Doute. Jax leveled a serious accusation against a Dawson’s Creek alum’s attitude toward Tom Schwartz.

Brittany Cartwright, Jax Taylor, Tom Schwartz, and Kristen Doute were all celebrity guests at the Lexington Comic & Toy Con in Kentucky last weekend. According to Jax, Tom was excited to meet Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek. Us Weekly reports that Jax recalled Tom calling him several times to remind him to “bring his “Mox” jersey from Varsity Blues.”
But the meeting allegedly didn’t go that well. According to Jax, the Dancing With The Stars alum snubbed Tom Schwartz.

“[Schwartz] said the autograph session went fine. I just don’t think he was really as nice as he could’ve been,” Jax said about the celeb interaction.
His estranged wife spoke up to defend the Dawson’s Creek star. She said, “You never know what somebody’s going through.” Brittany added, “There’s been times whenever I’m rushing through an airport and I can’t, like, spend all that time talking to somebody like I normally would, and then I don’t want them to think I’m mean.”
But Jax pointed out that being at an airport and at a fan convention isn’t the same thing. “We’re there to sit there to take pictures, it is our job,” he shot back.
