‘Today’ Hoda Kotb Joins The Dating World With New Mystery Man
Today host Hoda Kotb recently shared that she has reentered the dating world. She announced her split from her ex-fiance, Joel Schiffman, in January 2022 and has taken a break from seeing other people since then. Two years later, it seems that Hoda is ready to look for love again and her co-hosts are having a hard time talking about anything else. The talk show veteran was recently spotted in New York City with a mystery man. Could it be her new beau? Keep reading to find out.
Hoda Kotb Cozies Up To Mystery Man In NYC
The U.S. Sun snapped photos of Hoda Kotb out and about with a new mystery man in NYC. The pair could be seen walking closely and sharing an intimate conversation.
Hoda was sporting her usual long, brown locks. She was wearing a puffy gray winter coat with an orange shirt underneath. The Today host was also wearing flared jeans and a backpack-style purse hung on her shoulders.
Her mystery man wore a navy blue suit with a white t-shirt underneath. He appeared to be about the same height as Hoda and had a short brown hairstyle. They appeared to be enjoying each other’s company as they strolled through the streets of NYC.
The 59-year-old recently spoke about being set up by her co-host, Jenna Bush Hager. Hoda Kotb admitted that she had been on three dates with the mystery man since Jenna introduced them. However, it is not clear if the man she was spotted in New York City is the same person or not.

“A setup, ’cause that means somebody kind of knows you and kind of knows them,” Hoda said regarding the introduction.”I like that a little bit better than random person number three.”
The Today Host Has Been Focused On Family
There is no wonder as to why it has taken Hoda Kotb a couple of years to get back into the dating game. Her relationship with Joel Schiffman came to an emotional end in 2022. The Today host teared up discussing the separation on the morning talk show. The couple shares two adopted daughters: Hope, 4, and Haley, 7. Hoda is the primary parent of the two girls.
On top of the breakup, Hoda had a huge health scare with her 4-year-old last year. She has opened up about how Hope wound up in the ICU and spent nearly a week in the hospital. Since then, Hoda Kotb says that her perspective on life has changed.

She is more focused on living her day-to-day life with her daughters and cherishing each moment. Hoda also said she is trying not to put too much of her worry on her children.
