Ariana Madix Reveals She Struggled Financially Amid Scandoval
In a preview for an episode of Vanderpump Rules, Ariana Madix revealed that she struggled financially before and after Scandoval. She sees how the internet made it seem as though she made a ton of money off of the affair, but she indeed did not. A lot of her money ended up going towards the house she owns with Tom Sandoval. It makes more sense now that she would fight so hard over the house, she spent most of her money on. Even then, it was before the affair became public and she did not make as much money as people think.
Ariana Madix Excels Without Tom Sandoval
Ariana Madix gained a lot of opportunities after it became public that her long-time boyfriend cheated on her. She got to be on Dancing With The Stars where she made it to the finale but did not get to take the Mirrorball home. However, it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for her, and she enjoyed it every step of the way. Scheana Shay was jealous of the experience she got because it has been a dream of Shay’s to be on the show. After this, Ariana gained a spot in a Broadway musical. She is starring as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago. Now she seems to be living her best life with her boyfriend Daniel Wai.
She Struggled Financially Regardless Of Her Opportunities
Ariana Madix let her friends and fans know that she did not make the kind of money everyone thought after her boyfriend cheated on her.
“Like Internet thinks I’ve made millions of dollars, that is not true. And it’s like on March 1st, was I financially prepared to move? No, literally the week before all of this happened, I remember emailing my agent and my manager and being like ‘guys let’s start like really trying to like do some sh*t’. Because I am not in a good place finacially.”
She then later revealed that she was down to her last $2,000 due to buying a house and starting the sandwich shop.
“When I first started making like decent money, we decided we wanted to buy a house. Then I was playing catch up all the way up until Katie and I found a great location for a sandwich shop. Then, a bunch of my money went towards that. And now, I was at a point where in March I was literally on like my last $2,000 I’m not kidding.”
It seems as though the majority of Ariana’s money went to the house she shares with Tom and the sandwich shop she was trying to open with Katie. However, it does not seem that the sandwich shop will ever open due to the complications they faced. Fans think it has a lot to do with how absent Ariana has been the last few months.
