General Hospital star Haley Pullos was involved in a head-on collision in April 2023. The court cases for this are still in motion since Haley was arrested for DUI and driving on the wrong side of the road during the accident. What is holding things up is that Haley wants the charges dropped because she is blaming the victim.

Here is what Haley is saying and an update on her court case.

Haley Pullos Blames Victim After DUI Accident

Haley Pullos was arrested on April 29, 2023, following a head-on collision in Pasadena, California. The charges against Haley include Driving Under the Influence (DUI) when she hit a man while she was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the road. The police also say she was in a separate hit-and-run just moments before the second accident. She was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident for that first wreck.

However, despite the two accidents, Haley says the head-on collision was the fault of the man that she hit. The accident was so bad that Haley had to be removed from the car with the jaws of life. The victim in the other car, Courtney Wilder, said that Haley began yelling at the first responders who saved her from her car for touching her expensive shirt (via Daily Mail).

Courtney has since sued Pullos. He suffered serious injuries in the head-on collision and was rushed to the hospital. For her part, Pullos pled not guilty to DUI and leaving the scene of the prior accident. Not only that, but she is blaming the man that she hit for the accident.

Haley Pullos Fighting Charges After DUI Arrest

Haley Pullos is denying all charges against her and she says that Courtney was to blame for everything. It is unclear how the man that she hit head-on was responsible for the accident she is accused of fleeing before the second accident even happened. Pullos’ attorneys said that the crash was “proximately caused by either the sole negligent and/or intentional conduct of plaintiffs.”

Pullos also wants Courtney to pay all her legal fees. In his lawsuit, Courtney mentioned there were edible wrappers and empty alcohol bottles found in Haley’s vehicle at the accident. The General Hospital actress was working as a hostess at the No Comment Lounge before the accident.

Pullos not only is fighting the lawsuit from Courtney, but she pled not guilty to the criminal charges of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. While the LA District Attorney and Pullos’s attorneys were working on a “potential settlement,” Pullos still seems to be fighting the charges. Pullos goes back in on April 8 for another hearing. If no deal is made, she will go to trial and face up to three years in prison if found guilty.

Haley Pullos said she was taking a break from General Hospital after the accident.  She has played Molly Lansing-Davis since she was 11. In May 2023, she checked into a luxury rehab facility in Malibu.
