‘1000-Lb Best Friends’ Tina Arnold Launches New Book
Some fans know that 1000-Lb Best Friends star Tina Arnold is a published writer. When she isn’t filming 1000-Lb Best Friends or busy being a wife and mother, she really enjoys creating new worlds.
But her latest project is a little different than some of her previous publications. This spring, Tina is excited to launch her brand new cookbook.
However, 1000-Lb Best Friends viewers might not react the way she had hoped. Keep reading to see what they’re saying online.
Tina Arnold Proudly Launches Her New Cookbook
Tina Arnold may not be the most popular 1000-Lb Best Friends cast member, but viewers are always eager to keep up with the women. Season 3 will likely come out later in the year. But in the meantime, the women have plenty of projects to keep them busy.
Tina previously confirmed she won’t return to the series. She said that she felt pressured to undergo weight loss surgery and didn’t feel like there was room for weight loss on television without medical intervention. For now, she’s on her own path to health and weight loss.
And that’s precisely what her new book is all about. Tina Arnold is proudly announcing her new cookbook, which will be available for purchase in a few weeks.
“Look who has a cook book!!!! Who wants one LOL” the original Redditor shared online. They shared a screenshot from Tina’s Instagram page advertising the cookbook.
According to Tina, the cookbook comes out in April in e-book format. It costs $14.99 and features 15 of her favorite recipes.

Although Tina Arnold’s Instagram followers seemed interested in the cookbook, Redditors didn’t quite feel the same way. Several didn’t think it was worth the purchase considering Tina’s progress on the show.
Redditors wrote:
- “It’s like a coach preaching the life but not living it- how uninspiring. Now Vannessa could pitch this, she stuck to the plan and made sure to get nutrients with her smoothies.”
- “14.99 for an e book?? That’s insane”
- “She is the very last person I would want a cookbook from. I do fine on my own, thanks.”
- “I’m guessing she just took recipes off Pinterest and claimed them as hers.”
How Will The Show Proceed Without Tina?
Aside from Tina, the other three women are fully expected to return when 1000-Lb Best Friends comes to television screens later in the year.
It’s not exactly known how the show will handle Tina’s absence, especially since she and Meghan Crumpler maintained such a close friendship.
