‘1000-Lb Best Friends’ Meghan Crumpler Back In ER, What Happened?
1000-Lb Best Friends star Meghan Crumpler has a myriad of health issues she’s struggled with throughout her life.
When fans first met her on Too Large, she couldn’t use the restroom without assistance. On 1000-Lb Best Friends, Meghan is in much better health and shape. However, she still struggles from time to time.
According to Meghan’s social media pages, she recently went back to the ER and required another surgery. What exactly happened to the TLC star?
Meghan Crumpler Heads To The Emergency Room
Over the course of two seasons, 1000-Lb Best Friends viewers have grown incredibly frustrated with Meghan Crumpler. Most think she doesn’t take responsibility for her own actions. On top of that, they don’t think she properly takes care of her health.
On Reddit, viewers discussed a few of Meghan’s recent posts.
“I’m sorry, what?” the original Reddit poster asked, attaching two screenshots of Meghan’s. In the first screenshot, Meghan Crumpler shares that she went to the ER because she had severe pain that wasn’t getting any better. In the second, she informs her followers that she will be just fine long-term, but she requires surgery on her “buttocks.”

Overall, other Redditors thought the post was incredibly odd. Many also compared her to Mary from 90 Day Fiance. No matter what is actually going on with Meghan’s health, 1000-Lb Best Friends fans think she’s not handling the situation responsibly. In the Reddit thread, many pointed out that the ER was for emergency visits only, not ongoing pain that could be addressed with a primary care physician.

- “ER is to prevent you from dying/ruling out anything that could be life threatening.”
- “But why wouldn’t she just go to her dr? Why ER?”
- “I hate people who do this. Taking time away from real emergencies.”
- “I came here to say this!! The amount of people with this attitude is honestly astonishing and infuriating. And then they get angry when you discharge them and tell them to follow up with a specialist and/or their PCP.”
What Can Fans Expect In Season 3?
So far, it seems that Meghan will be back for 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 3 along with Vannessa Cross and Ashely Sutton. Meghan’s best friend and former roommate Tina Arnold pulled out of the show.
Since Meghan and Tina are pretty dependent on one another, fans are interested to see how the new season will all play out.
