‘The View’ Hosts Argue Over The Reason Sara Haines Is Missing
Sara Haines was unexpectedly absent from The View on Thursday, leaving just four of the hosts at the infamous desk. Her empty seat was noted and the other hosts wound up arguing about the reason Sara wasn’t there. The View Cohosts Argue About Why Sara Haines Is Missing
Viewers noticed that it was only Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farrah Griffin on Thursday’s episode. As the show opened, Whoopi took a moment to explain Sara Haines’ absence.
“Sara is out today. We all miss her, but she will hopefully be back in the next couple of days,” she explained. Joy chimed in, sharing that Sara wasn’t feeling well, but that she was “fine.”

Confused, Whoopi asked, “She doesn’t feel good, but she’s fine?” Then Joy Behar said, “I’d say it was PMS, but she’s over it.” This began a bit of an argument between the remaining hosts.
“Remember those days?” Whoopi Goldberg responded to Joy. That’s when Alyssa Farrah Griffin piped up, “She’s not over PMS. She’s 42. I’ve got to stand up for my girl!” To which Whoopi replied with a simple, “Okay.”
The Ladies Of The View Take On Other Projects Regularly
Like her cohosts on The View, Sara Haines works on other projects outside of the daytime talk show.
She recently shared that she would be on an episode of Finding Your Roots, a show where celebrities look into their ancestry. Each episode airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on PBS and examines a celeb’s ancestry using their DNA. They find out if they are related to any famous people and learn about their family history. Sara Haines will be featured in episode 10.
Sara’s cohost Sunny Hostin was recently on the show and found out that her family owned slaves. Discovering this information was extremely emotional for The View cohost.

In addition to her appearance on Finding Your Roots, Sara has taken up a correspondent role for the show What Would You Do? on ABC. Currently, her role on the show is more behind the scenes than in front of the camera. What Would You Do? is a hidden camera television series that poses one simple question to viewers: what would they do if they were in the situation shown on TV?
Recently, Whoopi Goldberg teased that she would be away from the desk at The View soon too. While she did not elaborate on what the project might be, she said that she’d be “working” rather than accompanying her cohosts to an upcoming Jennifer Lopez concert.
That being said, none of the current panelists on The View are planning on leaving the famous daytime talk show desk any time soon. You can still catch them every week day at 11 a.m. EST on ABC.
