Jax Taylor brought Brittany Cartwright onto Vanderpump Rules in Season 4 all the way from Kentucky. Things were rocky but they made it work even after he cheated on her in Season 6. They proceeded to break up at the end of the season then his father passed and he realized she was the only one for him. The following season, Jax proposed and they wed in a lavish Kentucky ceremony in the middle of Season 8. They departed after that season ended but came back when ‘Scandoval’ occurred in Season 10.
Brittany and Jax now had a son, Cruz, a new podcast, When Reality Hits, and a three-episode series on Peacock. Then, it was revealed that they would be in the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, which had been delayed from 2020. Recently, it had been rumored that the two had been living apart. Jax was even seen cuddling with their publicist on a Canadian adventure but they denied any problems afoot. Now, according to their latest podcast, Brittany’s tune has changed. @pumprules shared a clip and Brittany Cartwright shared she and Jax are taking time apart from one another.

She went on to explain that she wanted to be open and honest and that she had moved into a separate home. This is purely for her mental health yet she has no idea what the future holds right now. Brittany’s goal is to be the best mother to Cruz that she possibly can be but she did ask for everyone’s prayers. This is an interesting development as Jax Taylor did boast that he was the only one still married.

Of course, with The Valley set to premiere in March on Bravo, some followers cannot help but think this is a PR stunt.

At this point, time will tell if this is just a publicity stunt to get viewers for The Valley or if they are really struggling. In any case, they are taking the time that they need and hopefully, they can find a resolution one way or another.
