The Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley has not even premiered yet but it already has Brittany Cartwright on edge. Despite being used to reality television herself, she has her own trepidations, and with good reason. What is causing her nerves, weeks ahead of the premiere? Read on for more details.

The Valley Has Brittany Cartwright On Edge, Why?

Brittany Cartwright was introduced on Vanderpump Rules in Season 4 via OG cast member, Jax Taylor. They met on a trip to Vegas and he was instantly attracted to her. Of course, he was still flirting with the new girl at SUR, Lala Kent which Brittany did not know about. Despite his denial, Jax moved Brittany out to live with him in California all the way from Kentucky. He took her to Hawaii, bought her new boobs, cheated on her, and then married her. The duo exited after Season 8 but stayed in touch with other co-stars and resurfaced during the times of ‘Scandoval.’

They now have their own podcast, When Reality Hits, a son named Cruz, and will star in the Vanderpump spinoff, The Valley. It will launch through an episode of Pump Rules, episode 8, and immediately go into the new series. However, Brittany has expressed some fears she has about the new show. According to Reality Tea, Cartwright worries for her son, Cruz. Though he has his own Instagram and she is not shy about showing him nor is her husband, this is a different level and medium.

“The hardest part, I think is going to be — because Cruz is on the show, and dealing with backlash or people judging things or this or that, I think that’s going to be the most difficult part because he’s the best thing ever. I wish people didn’t say anything bad about my two-year-old. But in the world we live in, things happen and people are stupid, and people say things. But I think that’s the only part that I’m actually worried about. Because other than that, I think that we had a really good season.”

So, clearly, she is worried for the right reasons but she is also choosing to put her son out there so she knows what she is in for. However, Brittany does not have to listen to the naysayers and just enjoy the ride.

The Negativity Is Already Here

Sadly, there is already negativity aimed at The Valley. Not necessarily at Brittany Cartwright and her family but the show in general. When the latest promo pic was released, Bravo fans went in on the show and they were not too kind:

  • Nobody asked for this. Everyone wants 🗣️ Southern Charm NOLA 👏 Shahs of Sunset 👏 Family Karma 👏
  • this is horrifying
  • We asked for Stassi, not this 🙄
  • Put this budget towards getting Phaedra and Nene back on RHOA!!!

Only time will tell if the tide turns once the show premieres on March 19th. Are you looking forward to The Valley? More so, do you understand Brittany’s fears? Let us know and watch Vanderpump Rules Tuesdays on Bravo.
