Will Jax Taylor be made out to be the bad guy on the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley? He was cast on House of Villains over on E! so this is his brand. So, what type will he be playing for the new Bravo reality series coming Spring 2024? Details here.

The Valley Jax Taylor Out To Be The Bad Guy?

When Jax Taylor slept with his best friend, Tom Sandoval’s then-girlfriend, Kristen Doute, there was no remorse. This all came out in Season 2 of Vanderpump Rules. When asked how he felt, Taylor almost felt completely fine with his decision. Since he had no feelings, Sandoval went and punched him to see if he could feel that. Obviously, Sandoval has gone on to make poor choices himself. Taylor left Pump after Season 8 along with his wife, Brittany Cartwright and there was supposed to be a spinoff back then. Unfortunately, it was shelved when Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired at the same time.

Now, the spinoff is taking flight under the title of The Valley with Doute and her boyfriend, Luke Broderick as part of the cast. Jax and Cartwright are two core cast members luring viewers in. However, what kind of person will Jax be this time around? Has he softened now that he is a husband and a father or is he still that vindictive, out for himself, devil? According to Reality Tea, Jax shared what will happen on the Trading Secrets podcast.

“I was always kind of the scapegoat on [Vanderpump Rules]. I overshadowed everybody else’s flaws, so no matter what they all did, it would always come back on me for some reason, and I was always the one that they could just go to and be like, ‘Oh, we’ll just blame it all on Jax. Let’s go after Jax.’ So, it took a toll on me for a while, no matter what anybody else did, no matter — they all did the same exact things that I did, believe it or not. Nobody realizes that.”

Essentially, Jax Taylor was not really a bad guy, it was just the light he was painted in. More so, he and his cast mates were one and the same.

The New Jax

Now that he is a father of Cruz, nearly three, Jax Taylor feels that he has changed in the best way possible. He claims that the person he once was, who fans grew to love to hate, is no longer in existence. Now, he wants to share this new persona with the belief that viewers will appreciate him.

“Like I said, I’m a different person than I used to be. I took a piece of humble pie … I’m a little appreciative of things. I’m happy to be where I’m at right now [and] I’m back to where I want to be.”

Though he and his wife did open a bar, Jax’s Studio City, he does feel that reality television is the one thing that he truly excels at. Time will tell how much he has changed and what he brings to The Valley. It will allegedly spin-off in episode eight of Vanderpump Rules via a conversation with Tom Sandoval.

Do you believe what Jax has to say or will he always be the villain in your eyes? Let us know your thoughts and watch Vanderpump Rules Tuesdays on Bravo.
