Jax Taylor Opening Bar With Former ‘Pump Rules’ Co-Star
Jax Taylor has a new business venture and it involves liquor and Vanderpump Rules. The Bravo star is opening a bar with one of his former co-stars. Currently, he owns Jax’s Studio City alongside his wife, Brittany Cartwright. So, who is he diving into this new adventure with and why? Read on for more details.
Jax Taylor Opening Bar With Former Pump Rules Co-Star
For many years, Jax Taylor has had many endeavors that never came to fruition. He was convinced that he would be a bartender forever. This was especially prevalent when his two best friends, Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval were opening TomTom with Lisa Vanderpump. He felt like he had nothing and then Taylor and his wife, Brittany Cartwright exited Vanderpump Rules after Season 8. They had a son, Cruz, and returned at the height of ‘Scandoval’ to the Bravoverse. The couple launched their own podcast, When Reality Hits, and had a three-episode show on Peacock.
Jax was cast on House of Villains on E! while also opening Jax’s Studio City. He and Brittany as well as Pump alum, Kristen Doute shared that they were coming back on a spinoff called The Valley. Jax will appear on Vanderpump Rules to help bridge the two shows. However, he also has another venture that he is taking on with a former co-star and one of his closest friends. According to The Sun, Jax and Tom Schwartz are opening a bar together. Currently, Schwartz has TomTom and Schwartz & Sandy’s with Tom Sandoval but the latter took a big hit after ‘Scandoval.’

Allegedly, Season 11 of Vanderpump could not even be filmed there. So, how did this come to fruition? Jax Taylor and Schwartz were in Canada together and a follower said this: “This is the duo we need! The two of you should open a bar together!” To that, Taylor responded: “already talking about… stay tuned.” This could be a great way to keep the two shows intertwined and fans invested or launch a new spinoff. Summer House is a spinoff of Vanderpump which is a spinoff of RHOBH.
A New Gig
It has long been suggested that Tom Sandoval is not welcomed at Schwartz & Sandy’s. More so, it is alleged that the staff does not care for him but that they love Tom Schwartz. There have been events that have gone from the Toms’ bar to Jax Taylor’s bar. To open one together seems like a natural next step. Only time will tell if this will come to fruition or if it is another one of Jax’s pipe dreams.
