Jax Taylor is clarifying the current status with his wife, Brittany Cartwright after rumors have been swirling. The Vanderpump Rules alums have been married for nearly five years. Plus, they have a son, Cruz, almost three so what exactly is going between the two? Read on for more details.
Jax Taylor Clarifies Current Status With Wife
Things have not been great between Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright since they first got together. They have had infidelity, lies, rage, and more. Then, they tied the knot and it seemed to be better but he still had a lot of anger. After Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, they exited the show and ended up starting a family. When ‘Scandoval’ happened in 2023, they came back into the spotlight with a limited Peacock series. Additionally, the couple launched a podcast, When Reality Hits. Jax has also returned for Season 11 of Pump Rules but that will lead into the show’s spinoff, The Valley.

This will start in Spring 2024 and star himself, Brittany, and fellow alum, Kristen Doute. As this gets closer, speculation began that Jax and Brittany were no longer living together. Then, he headed off to Canada with Tom Schwartz and looked very comfy cozy with his publicist. She has been allegedly known as his “side chick.” So, what is really going on? According to The Sun, Jax is setting the record straight. On an Instagram post, a follower asked this:
- “Is him and Brittany not together anymore?”
Immediately, Jax Taylor responded and wrote this:
- “why would you say that,, i can’t take a trip without my wife for work… [eyeroll emoji].”
It is not so much that he could not take a trip without Brittany, that is fine. More so, the clues that were leading up to this and then coming out during the trip had people questioning. The rumors of them living separately, the lovey-dovey photo with Lori K., and a room service photo with extra glasses, it was suspicious. Plus, Jax has a really bad track record.
Fans Remember
There were fans who pointed out shady things that Jax Taylor had done in his past on Vanderpump Rules. He went to Las Vegas, cheated on Stassi Schroeder, denied it, and then confessed in the Season 1finale. Of course, Jax could not believe people would go back that far. He wrote:
- “wow…. after everything that happened… seriously.”
