‘Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown Snubs Stepsister After Home Burns
Sadly, Sister Wives star, Robyn Brown’s stepsister, Lisa Jessop’s home burned in an unexpected fire. Amid the horrific loss, Kody and Robyn Brown have seemingly snubbed the family.
Robyn Brown’s Stepsister’s Home Burns Down
On January 11, 2024, Robyn Brown’s stepsister‘s home caught fire in Pinesdale, Montana. After which the Corvallis Fire Department responded to a call for the property. On the fire department’s Facebook page, they state: “At approximately 2:20 p.m. on 01/11/2024 Corvallis fire was paged with Pinesdale fire department for reports of a structure fire. Upon arriving on scene command units saw a fully involved working fire and requested mutual aid from Victor Fire and EMS Montana and Hamilton – MT Fire Department. Crews quickly began working on fire knockdown in the defensive attack. After some time command recognized the heavy workload with minimal crews further requesting mutual aid from Darby Fire Department and Stevensville Rural Fire District. Crews did extinguish the fire as quickly and efficiently as possible.”
Kody And Robyn Brown’s Nanny Starts A GoFundMe
Unfortunately, after five grueling hours of extinguishing and evacuating the residence, the home was in ill repair. While the teams worked diligently, the inside and outside of the home sustained unretrievable damage. In response, Robyn Brown’s niece, Mindy Jessop, started a GoFundMe page for her mother. Notably, Mindy was on Sister Wives working as Kody and Robyn’s nanny to help care for their five children. Within the GoFundMe she is asking for donations of $40,000. Describing the incident she says, “Family, friends, community, and anybody else who this may reach, today; January 11th, 2024, Lisa Jessop, a mother of 11 lost her home of 43 years to a devastating house fire.”
Then continuing, Mindy Jessop expresses how the accident has affected the entire family. She says, “This was a home to all of her children and is a substantial loss to the whole family. While we can’t get back most of the photographs or sentimental objects stored there, we are grateful to say that no person or pet was injured from the fire.”
Mindy Jessop Encourages Support
Additionally, Robyn Brown’s stepsister’s home was completely burned. Mindy Jessop adds, “As nothing in the home was salvageable, we are asking for aid from anybody in a position to help Lisa and our affected family members. Even the smallest donations can help with the essentials, beginning to rebuild, and regaining some sense of normalcy. We are grateful for any support you can provide during this trying time.”
Further Mindy talks about the wonderful attributes of Lisa Jessop, Robyn Brown’s stepsister. She says, “Thank you for considering to be a part of our mom’s journey towards recovery. Those who have met Lisa know the kindness, selflessness, and compassion she shows on a daily basis to those surrounding her. We are determined to get through this unfortunate circumstance and will be eternally grateful for any contribution those reading this can make, whether it be financially, morally, or through prayer.”
Kody And Robyn Brown Snub Family Amid Crisis
Furthermore, Mindy Jessop updated the GoFundMe on January 17. Then Mindy wrote, “Mom was able to go see the house for the first time since it burned down. This is a very sad time but we are determined to rebuild and keep moving forward. Thank you again everyone for your generosity, support, prayers and donations.” However, Sister Wives fans were quick to notice that none of the $12,416 of the $40,000 goal was contributed by Kody and Robyn Brown. Unless the donation was made privately or anonymously, the Browns aren’t pitching in. Additionally, their social media pages don’t show their support either. Currently, none of their pages have the GoFundMe shared to gain support for the matter.
