Anna Duggar’s Sister Priscilla Called ‘Judgmental’ & ‘Hateful’
Priscilla Waller, the sister of Anna Duggar, has just caused quite a stir with comments that fans call both “hateful” and “judgmental.” Josh Duggar’s sister-in-law made a pregnancy announcement. However, in doing so, she also made some controversial statements that showed what some fans call hateful intentions.
Here is what Priscilla said and how the fans have responded.
Josh Duggar Sister-In-Law Makes Pregnancy Announcement
Priscilla Waller is pregnant. If that name is unfamiliar, she is the sister-in-law of Josh Duggar. She is also someone who has continued to support her brother-in-law despite his conviction for receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography. Josh was also accused of sexually assaulting his sisters when they were children.
Despite this, Josh’s wife Anna has stayed by his side, supporting him through it all. Priscilla has also remained in support of her brother-in-law. This made her the prime target for many people when she made what should have been a wonderful announcement. Priscilla announced she was pregnant. However, she then used the moment to bash transgender children.
In the video, she said she was excited to know the gender of her child, whether it is a boy or a girl – but “nothing else.” She then went on to say that “God gets to choose the gender in a world that is so confused these days with gender and identity.” Priscilla then quoted a Bible verse that said God created males and females and said it was good.
She finished up by saying that her followers should be “the person who God’s created you to be.” This clearly sent many fans after her.
Duggar Fans Bash Priscilla For “Hateful” Comments
It should come as no surprise that Priscilla has these beliefs. The Duggar family has always practiced a very stringent and regulated fundamentalist Christian religion. Their beliefs were exposed quite a bit in the 2023 documentary Shiny Happy People. However, fans were not having any of it in the video.

Fans swept into the comments and began to bash Priscilla for both her comments against transgender families as well as her continued support for Josh Duggar, despite his crimes.
- “I’m so confused. Is this a political announcement or a personal one?”
- “Doesn’t the Bible say judge not lest ye be judged? Why not speak out against Joshua and the actual harm he’s done?”
- “Yikes. I hope you find Jesus. You are soooo far from the Lord. I’ll pray for you to know Him.”
- “So disturbing, especially after the death of that poor non-binary child in Oklahoma!”
Some people ignored the comments and congratulated her. However, the people who came out against Priscila’s comments were staggering. There was even one who countered her Bible verse with one of their own – Matthew 7: 1-2. which reads, “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged.”
