Josh Duggar Petitions United States Supreme Court
Caleb Williams was central to the defense during the trial of Josh Duggar for possessing sensitive material of minors. However, the prosecution kept him out of it, and now, that alleged evidence provides a final attempt to petition the United States Supreme Court. If you don’t know, Caleb Williams was suspected of dating Jana Duggar about six years ago. However, in 2020, he received 18 months probation for alleged statutory assault on a minor,
Josh Duggar’s Attorney Pointed Fingers At Caleb Williams
TLC fans were aware that Caleb Williams hung around the Duggar family for some time. And, they also knew that in September of 2021, Caleb registered as a sex offender. Naturally, it made sense for the defense team of the 19 Kids and Counting alum to suggest that Williams might have downloaded the sensitive material.
Josh Duggar’s team presented their claim that Williams has the necessary tech to bypass the app that prevents downloading nasty things off the internet. However, despite appeals, the courts don’t seem interested in pursuing that possibility. Of course, the former TLC star feels aggrieved and believes that someone set him up for a fall. Now all appeals have been exhausted, his legal team petitions Justice Justice Kavanaugh.

The Supreme Court Petition
According to documents obtained by Starcasm, the former 19 Kids and Counting star is looking for a chance to get Caleb Williams to answer questions in court. The outlet noted what that means:
If his latest paperwork is granted, the Court will extend the current December 27, 2023 deadline until February 25, 2024 giving Duggar yet another chance to fight for a mistrial.
The current legal channel starts with a petition to the United States Supreme Court. In effect, it means that they want an order issued to a lower court to “send up the record of the case for review.” As Caleb Williams wasn’t questioned, Josh Duggar’s defense team feels that they haven’t had the chance to fully defend their client.
Apparently, only a tiny percentage of petitions are accepted. So, it seems that if the appeal isn’t granted, then Josh will serve his full sentence of 12.5 years in prison.
Josh Duggar Has An Unfortunate History
The blaming of Caleb Williams might sound feasible. However, 19 Kids and Counting and Counting On fans disbelieve the theory. Despite fighting hard to keep the molestation of the Duggar daughters out of the trial, it was admitted into evidence. On top of the allegedly appalling videos shown, the testimony about the molestation didn’t sit well with the jury.
