1000-LB Sisters: Amy Slaton Slammed In The Past For Bad Parenting
Having kids may be a blessing, but it’s also a huge responsibility. One of the primary reasons that Amy Slaton dropped weight was so that she could realize her dream of becoming a mother. Two boys later, 1000-lb Sisters fans are often concerned about Amy’s parenting.
Things seem to have gone from bad to worse ever since Amy split from her ex, Michael. In recent 1000-lb Sisters scenes, Amy is often overwhelmed by having to take care of two young boys, even when she has plenty of people around her to help her out.
TLC Fans Worried About Conditions In The Home
In the past, 1000-lb Sisters fans have slammed Amy Slaton for the conditions in which she is raising her children. Viewers often made comments about the floors being dirty. Others have openly roasted her for having things like bugs and mice in her home.
It got so bad in previous 1000-lb Sisters scenes that Amy and Michael had to have professionals come in and clean the place they were living in. It’d be one thing if it was just Amy, and that was how she chose to live her life. However, when you have two young children to look after who are growing up in that kind of environment, it’s easy to understand viewer concerns.
1000-LB Sisters: Viewers Worry For Glenn After Scary Injury, What Happened?
Amy Slaton recently shared a video on social media that is worrying fans. In the clip, you can see Glenn with several scratches down his face. According to Amy, she said that this is what happens when “you wrestle with the dog and the dog wins.”
Amy Slaton seemed to shrug off the injury to her young toddler, but 1000-lb Sisters fans didn’t take the injury to her son very lightly. The scratches down his face are very close to his eyes. So, depending on where the furry family member scratched him, the dog could have very easily taken out an eye.

- Another TLC viewer said: “He could have gotten eye damage!! Bad parenting.”

Luckily, Glenn’s injury wasn’t worse. However, this leaves many fans wondering what could happen next under Amy’s watch. The family dog ended up with broken bones back in November 2023 after Amy had it chained in the backyard unsupervised. It may only be a matter of time before another accident happens to Glenn, Bruno, or Gage.
