She confirmed that she is seeing someone new, but that they are taking things slowly. Apparently, they have only been on one date and haven’t seen each other in person since.
“You all are the ones going fast. He hasn’t met my boys. I haven’t even seen his kids for at least a year,” she shared with her followers. What got the attention of many people in the comments was Amy’s caption for the post. “Drunk messages for Kevin,” she wrote.
People were quick to jump into the comment section to let Amy Slaton know what they thought about her relationship and her behavior. Several people called her out for being desperate. Others chimed in on how the “drunk messages” seemed to be a toxic start to their relationship.
“If I was Kevin, I’d run. Not a healthy way to start a relationship,” one person wrote. Another chimed in with, “What in the hell Amy? Drunk messages!?”

“What you should be doing is remembering to set boundaries for yourself and the boys and make sure he’s good enough for you!” one concerned fan wrote. Another commenter pointed out that Amy needs to focus on healing herself before she pursues anything serious. “You can’t pour from an empty cup!”
Amy Slaton’s big reveal of her new boyfriend, Kevin, came shortly after her split from Tony Rodgers. In September 2023, her sister Tammy Slaton said that she felt like Amy was moving too fast with Tony, who she believed to be a rebound from her ex, Michael Halterman. Amy and Michael got a divorce in Spring 2023.
