1000-lb Sisters fans have been saying for years that Amy Slaton should not have had kids when she struggles enough to take care of herself. In current TLC scenes, viewers see Amy lose it over having to take care of her two boys. When anyone tries to give her advice or help her out, she lashes out.
Things came to a head in 1000-lb Sisters scenes during a physical altercation while on the TLC family vacation. Amy Slaton lashed out at Amanda Halterman in scenes, and the pair had to be separated.

Back in November 2023, Amy Slaton shared a video on TikTok talking about her 19-week-old puppy. She kept the fur baby outside on a leash. According to Amy, the puppy “went crazy,” tripping and falling over toys outside. This resulted in the dog “breaking his fibula and tibia.” Amy added that he had to have a “plate put in.”
1000-lb Sisters fans feel awful for the dog, with many slamming Amy for letting this happen on her watch. She struggles enough to take care of herself and her kids, and now, an animal suffers as well.

This woman is horrendous. She should NEVER have had kids, never mind animals. She needs to be cancelled and the whole family off of TV. she smokes around her kids, can’t clean up her own damn house and ONCE AGAIN HAS HURT AN ANIMAL.
