Nick Viall was a staple in the Bachelor franchise for years. He is set to captivate audiences once again with his latest move. Get all the details on his return to reality TV.

From TV’s Most Eligible Bachelor To New Dad

Nick Viall’s journey on reality TV began with his appearance on The Bachelorette and reached new heights as he became the lead on the 21st season of The Bachelor.

You might be surprised to know that Nick Viall doesn’t hold the record for contestants to appear on the most Bachelor Nation franchise shows. That (dis)honor goes to Chris Bukowski, who has appeared in a whopping six seasons.

However, Viall is a close second with four: two seasons of The Bachelorette and one season each of The Bachelor and Bachelor In Paradise. He was a contestant on Dancing With The Stars in 2017, coming in sixth place with pro dancer Peta Murgatroyd.

Most recently, Nick Viall was a contestant on Season 2 of Fox’s Special Forces reality competition. He was among the three winners, along with speed skater Erin Jackson and former Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron.

The reality TV regular’s personal life has changed a lot since his Bachelor days. He started dating Natalie Joy in 2020. He proposed to the model/surgical tech in 2023.

They have yet to walk down the aisle, but they welcomed their first child this month, daughter River Rose. Viall took to his Instagram over the weekend to share a video documenting his relationship with his fiance.

“Starting a family with you has been the best part of my life,” he captioned the video that showed their carefree partying days to parenthood.

Nick Viall Returns To Reality TV In Surprising Way

Reality shows seem to be in Nick Viall’s blood. News broke on Valentine’s Day that the podcast host is teaming up with another well-known reality star for a new show on the CW network.

The former Bachelor wants to help others find love and happiness like he has with Natalie Joy. He’ll get that chance by partnering with Bravolebrity Patti Stanger to play matchmaker for singles.

Stanger previously starred in the show The Millionaire Matchmaker on Bravo for eight seasons.

Variety reveals that Patti Stanger: The Matchmaker will premiere on the CW network on April 11, at 8 PM Eastern. The new show is part of the network moving away from scripted shows and embracing unscripted shows, AKA reality television.

Does it surprise you that Nick Viall’s next move in reality TV is a matchmaking show? Are you excited about it, or would you prefer him to join a reality competition like Peacock’s The Traitors? Sound off in the comments.
