Daisy Kent Opens Up To Fans About Lyme Disease Experience
Daisy Kent recently opened up with fans on TikTok about her Lyme disease journey and the treatment course she had to take to start feeling better. Fans did not realize all she had to go through and were shocked to hear how hard it was for her. Daisy is a fan favorite on this season of The Bachelor and seems to be hitting it off well with Joey. He has been accepting of Daisy with her cochlear implant and past health issues. He even was concerned if the group tennis date would be too much for her.
Daisy Kent Navigating The Journey With Hearing Loss
Kent has had an amazing journey on the show so far. She and Joey Graziadei hit it off instantly. Daisy even received the first one-on-one date of the season. On their first date, Daisy and Joey went on a helicopter and to a music festival. Daisy was nervous she would not be able to hear Joey on the helicopter. However, she was able to and later on at dinner, she let Joey know about her cochlear implant and hearing loss. She was nervous to do so, but Joey was very understanding, and he wanted to get to know more about her journey and the nonprofit she was going to start. However, fans were not happy about the date the producers sent her on and found it very unaccommodating.
She Opens Up About Her Journey
Fans had been asking Daisy Kent a lot of questions about her journey and she was happy to answer them. She went into detail on how she was sick starting when she was 11. She would have bad vertigo, no energy, and was sick all the time. Once she got diagnosed with Lyme Disease years later, she tried to do herbal medication and was taking up to 26 pills a day. However, this did not work, and she ended up going overseas after getting the funds from a GoFundMe.
She was there for a little over a month and it was intense. Daisy had her body heat raised to 107.6 degrees to kill the Lyme. She also had to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy so they could put medication in her stomach. Not only that, but they also had to take her blood plasma, clean it of the Lyme, and put it back into her system. This was a very hard journey for Daisy, but she said it was the best thing she could have ever done for herself.

Daisy has been open and vulnerable about her journey the whole time which allows viewers to get to know and like her more.
