‘The Bachelor’ Producers Slammed For Daisy’s Date
The Bachelor producers are getting slammed for sending Joey Graziadei and Daisy Kent on the musical festival one-on-one date. This was the first one-on-one of the season; however, fans are mad at the logistics of the date. Daisy Kent has a cochlear implant after losing most of her hearing in her teenage years. Fans were upset that they sent her on a date that revolved so much around hearing and loud noises.
Daisy Kent And Her Loss Of Hearing
Daisy Kent has opened up on The Bachelor about her previous health issues and the loss of her hearing. In Daisy’s teenage years, she was getting sick continuously and never felt good. Later on, she was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. After being diagnosed, her hearing kept getting worse until it got to the point where she barely could hear at all. This led to her getting a cochlear implant to help her hear. Viewers saw Daisy let the other women know that she was nervous to tell Joey because she hadn’t been in a situation like this before. It was her first date since she got her implant.

Fans Slam Producers
Fans are not happy with The Bachelor producers. They feel as though the date they sent Daisy and Joey on was not considerate of Daisy’s hearing issues. Daisy was already nervous to tell Joey about her cochlear implant and the date did not help. She told cameras it was very loud and later revealed that she cannot tell who is talking to her unless they are looking at her and she can see their face. Fans were mad that producers would even put her on a helicopter as Daisy was scared, she would not be able to hear Joey.
- “Daisy, who has a hearing impairment, IN A HELICOPTER FOR HER DATE”
- “Which Bachelor Producer thought it would be a good idea?”
- “The producers are so cruel for putting Daisy on a helicopter date. She’s not going to be able to hear anything and she hasn’t even had a chance to tell him,”
- “Me if I ever get to talk to production about sending Daisy on a date where she has to use headsets in a helicopter and listen to music at a festival when they know she feels anxiety about how to tell Joey about her cochlear implant,”
It seems as though a lot of people agree that they sent Daisy on the wrong kind of date. Sadly, the producers more than likely did not even think about the logistics of the date and it bothered Daisy. Regardless, it seemed Joey and Daisy had an amazing time on their date and they both love music. Daisy Kent was relieved by Joey Graziadei’s response to her cochlear implant, and it all went well. I’m sure that date was planned for a while. Production have no way of knowing who he will pick. it was just an unfortunate incident. Not calculated I’m sure. JMO
They just want to keep the ratings up. They don’t really care what they put people through! I was shocked, but saw that she handled it very well, hopefully that will make her shine bigger in his eyes. Truly, it wasn’t fair to her, but she probably can’t be adventuresome with diving into a swimming hole or a snorkeling/scuba diving date, so basically, it showed her strength, which was the point of the date.
