Mario Lopez Joins Great American Media
On Tuesday Great American Family posted on Instagram that Mario Lopez is joining the team. “📣. Join us in WELCOMING Emmy Award-Winning @mariolopez to our #GreatAmericanFamily.” Mario Lopez is going to star, develop, and produce for GAF.Â
In a Great American Media special press release sent to TV Shows Ace, there are more details. This is a multi-picture, multi-deal contract throughout the linear networks. That includes Great American Family, Great American Faith & Living, Great American Pure Flix, Great American Adventures, and the digital channel, Great American Faith & Home.
The plan is to “showcase diverse talent in front of the camera.”

Mario Lopez ‘Major’ Part Of Great American Christmas 2024
Mario Lopez is starting his Great American Family with some big projects. Firstly, Lopez will be a “major” part of Great American Christmas 2024. His first Christmas movie will be alongside his wife, Broadway star Courtney Lopez.
This is a huge network change as for many years, he had developed and starred in many Lifetime Christmas movies like Steppin’ Into The Holiday, and Holiday In Santa Fe.Â
Lopez shared a statement about this big contract signing. “Throughout my career, I’ve aimed to create a body of work that appeals to diverse audiences and, above all, brings joy to people. Joining Great American Media is immensely fulfilling. I look forward to creating uplifting, inclusive, and diverse content, viewed through a positive lens for all ages. What Mario will be bringing to the network is diversity. Moreover, he plans on bringing those diverse stories to the network.
