What is Lifetime’s Steppin’ Into The Holiday About?

According to The Futon Critic, Billy Holiday (Mario Lopez) is a former Broadway star. Wayne (Cantone) fires Billy from his series Celebrity Dance Off. He was the host, producer, and judge in this series. His fast-talking agent Dallas (Oteri) does what she can to get him a new gig.

Moreover, Joanna (Courtney Lopez), Billy’s co-star and former fling is now going to step right into his series role. You could say that “his popularly has hit the skids.”

So what does he do? He returns to his hometown.

Back home, he meets Rae (Kramer) when he visits his 12-year-old nephew at Rae’s dance studio. His nephew is a “standout student,” and the “charismatic” Rae enchants Billy.

Rae is planning a dance recital fundraiser. The proceeds will allow her to take her students to Broadway to see a show. Therefore, they need to have a great show if they want to afford to go to New York City.

Billy decides to volunteer for this show and ups the ante. He decides to revive the town’s Christmas Eve show. This was an event that showcased local talent.

Now, Billy’s producer instincts go into full gear. Along with Rae’s local knowledge, the two make a pretty great team.

In addition, sparks fly. The two collaborators have met their match, and they feel that they can soar together.
