After years on Long Island Medium, Theresa Caputo is starting off 2024 in a big way. Not only did she switch to a new network (Lifetime), but, she has a completely different show. Raising Spirits is already making waves, as Theresa is back to doing what she does best as a medium.
This new program gives watchers a different perspective. So, it’s not just rehashing Long Island Medium episodes under a new name. However, what does remain a constant is Theresa’s skills, her quick wit, and of course, her iconic hair.
What To Expect From New Show
With Theresa Caputo reinventing herself with a brand-new show, many of her fans are curious about what makes Raising Spirits different from Long Island Medium. There will still be the classic communicating with spirits that viewers have come to expect over the years. There is a different touch to this new show that sets it apart from what Caputo did in the past, though.
Theresa Caputo told TODAY while promoting her new venture that even though she still communicates with those who have passed on in the same way that she always has, her new show has more of a personal touch.
“I still speak to the souls of the departed, so don’t worry about that. But what I love is that we go a little bit more into my personal life with my family, my parents and my granddaughter,” she said.

For anyone expecting to see Theresa Caputo’s new boyfriend in the new scenes, that likely won’t happen. Caputo was born for the spotlight, and she even thrives in it. She has made a point of keeping her relationship as private as possible, however.
So even if the focus won’t be on her love life, there will be plenty of behind-the-scenes family time, as well as Theresa Caputo using her gifts to help people communicate with their loved ones.
