Theresa Caputo is quite the character. With her signature hairstyle and her uncanny gift, it’s no wonder viewers watched her for years on her show, Long Island Medium. It was her bread and butter for years, and the thing that launched her into the spotlight she enjoys today.
Caputo has a personality as big as her hair. It’s no wonder fans are drawn to her, as well as the clients she helps as a medium. Theresa Caputo may be good at what she does, but, many viewers wonder if it’s something she gets sick of. Recently, the TV personality had a lot to say about it.
Medium Exhausted By Her Day Job?
Even when you do something that you love, and something that you’re good at, there always comes a point where you want to clock out, let your hair down, and relax. For Caputo, the same is true when it comes to being a medium and using her gifts to help people.
Caputo knows she was “born to do this” when it comes to her work as a medium. Just like everyone else, though, she has days where she isn’t quite feeling it.
Speaking with Extra, Theresa Caputo recently said: “I mean, every job is draining, right? Everyone’s tired after a long day’s work, but sometimes I carry the emotions with me. Sometimes, the souls stay with me for a little bit so it can be very draining.”

Theresa Caputo Working Hard And Promoting New Show
Caputo has a brand-new show on Lifetime, Theresa Caputo: Raising Spirits. With everything Caputo has going on with her new show and everything she does, she seems to be making the best of it. Spirits lingering isn’t exactly something you can clock out of, even after a client leaves.
All things considered, Caputo seems to be handling it well. As far as what watchers can expect from her new show, she told Extra that there’s a lot of “behind-the-scenes stuff” to look forward to.
While admitting that being a medium can be draining work, there’s also a lot of reward in it. She added: “That’s the thing that I love what I do. I validate for people or the souls of the departed validate for people that what they sense and feel is real.”
